Search 4.0 - no duh!

March 19th, 2008

i’ll be honest… I appreciated the change but didnt even notice it. Now a search in Google yields on first page results a map, images, videos, or whatever multimedia piece is relevant. This is universal search and we all can agree that it is universally useful. I am listening to Danny Sullivan speak about the evolution of search and how advertising has adapted along the way. We all need not be afraid, once again - Google knowing our search habbits is only there to help us - SO RELAX! Those guys are good.

There’s a terrific google ad right now that maps out everything google provides. I was surprised. audio ads, text message access, labs.google + scholar.google, etc. wow. And you’re right it sort of happened while we were all wondering about all the stuff that could be happening.

    wowser.
